Should I get a plasma or LCD TV to play games?

So .. I have a Wii and I'm thinking of buying a PlayStation 3 and im wondering what is better for gaming plasma or LCD. Could you also ensure normal satelitte or cable in any of the TVs and I have no problem? (I'm not part of Videos section games). Thanks
